Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular is a 45-minute Broadway-style musical theatre show based on Disney's 1992 animated feature film Aladdin with music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice.

On June 13, 2006, the Broadway production moved to the Minskoff Theatre to make way for the musical version of Mary Poppins, which later was replaced by Aladdin. It is now Broadway's third longest-running show. The show uses a range of theatrical techniques, and is not a conventional musical.
He is perhaps best known for his Tony Award-winning performance as the Genie in the original Broadway production of Aladdin. Iglehart assumed the role of Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in the Broadway company of Hamilton in April 2017. He recreated the role of King Arthur in the 2023 Broadway revival of Spamalot.
In 2015, he left to originate the Minstrel in Something Rotten! on Broadway. He originated the role of Genie in the Australian production of Disney's musical Aladdin, which opened in Sydney in August 2016, before leaving the company in December 2017 to join the U.S. national tour of Aladdin.
